On the 1st December 2008….

Beyonce was #1 in the charts with About a Boy

…and despite the UK being gripped by recession, Paint Pot was born – in a former stable, at Backridge Farm, nestled along Twitter Lane, just outside Waddington, Lancashire. We managed to squeeze 4 small tables, our kiln, a desk, all our pottery, a sink and our packing area into room no bigger than a household garage.

5 glorious years were spent at Backridge, before we made the move down the road to our current home in Swan Courtyard, Clitheroe

Fast forward, many more happy years, I’m proud to say that we’re still going strong and still being visited by customers old and new. Without the unrivalled support of our little studio, at a time when running a local high street business is more challenging than ever, we wouldn’t be able to continue doing what we love so much, so THANK YOU!
